The Brutalitarian

The Brutalitarian

In addition to being a wicked clever name, The Brutalitarian is a serial journal of essays, loosely maligned as “non-fiction”. Theory, though sometimes utterly rank with pretentiousness and as entertaining as watching Slavoji Zizek sweat under the hot lights of a lecture hall stage, (anyone? anyone?) is really the life-blood of thought and the stubborn super-ego of all writing. And so, Brute Press must take part. Although there is no set publication period for this series, it will be up-dated as regularly as we find folks with something to say, which will probably be fairly often. Not as crucially important as it is generally informative and thoughtful, this is not 120-proof theory, nor Diet Theory, but a very comfortable, refreshing, and libationary well-mixed Whiskey Theory Sour. Cheers.
